DEEP IN THE CAVE…AGAIN!
Yes, DRAGAN and I are deep in the cave, getting ready for the big showdown, with a little help from our friends. Just a reminder that GABRIEL is an AmazonUK monthly deal for June 2019. DRAGAN’s story is moving along nicely, although deadlines are beginning to loom large, and you know what that means … The cave is beckoning! But not quite yet. RWA Nationals are coming up in July in New York. I’ll be there for a long weekend, but before the meeting, I’ll be in Toronto, and after I’ll be in Washington, DC. I reeaaaally want to have DRAGAN finished before I leave, so I’m typing my little fingers off right now. It’s the gym, the grocery store, and back to my computer. With a special birthday exception. No, not mine. This was my sister’s birthday, so some of us paid a visit to Beetle House to mingle with Jack Skellington, have dinner, and drink some BeetleJuice cocktails. More juice than tequila, but still tasty. And then back to the computer, which is

Shifter Planet 2 revisions are done and the manuscript is back with my editor. It’s looking good for an earlier release date. I should know the specifics soon. Yay! With Shifter Planet 2 out the door for now, I’m back with DRAGAN. His magic’s recharged and he’s flexing his wings, just in time. It’s Memorial Day weekend here in the U.S. and I just want to remind everyone to take a moment, before you head out for a barbeque, or however you celebrate the first long weekend of the summer, to remember that this day’s about honoring the brave men and women who gave their lives to support everything this country was founded to defend. And now, it’s back to work for me, because I have DEADLINES!! Enjoy the last bit of May, and welcome to June. xoxo DBR
SPA, SP2, and MORE BOOKS!
Okay, I admit it…I took a spa break this week. My brain was tired. I was tired. So I had a wonderful honey/orange blossom wrap treatment, a truly painful massage, and a couple of perfectly nutritious and delicious smoothies with chocolate hemp milk. Weird, but true. And I slept a lot. But then I came home and started working on revisions (not too many) for Shifter Planet 2 (that’s a working title–have to figure out a better one.) I read the first paragraph, with Aidan (remember him? Rhodry’s best friend/cousin?) Anyway, Aidan’s racing through the trees, feeling on top of the world, melting snow dripping on his back, sun shining … and it just made me feel good. I love that world, and I’m so happy I get to tell more stories from there. That’s Rhodry in the picture, by

But the news is about SP2 … my editor loved the story, and the revisions are modest, so … yay! This also probably means the book will be out sooner than originally planned. I’m hoping for a release BEFORE the October conference in Orlando, so I can have that book available for my readers who stop by the con. JABRIL’s e-book is still on sale, but only for a few more days. Only $0.99 on all the usual e-book platforms. Hope you all had a wonderful Mother’s Day with the people you love.
