A QUICK NOTE: IT’S NOT VALENTINE’S DAY!! YIKES!!
My new site went live today, at least in terms of the programming wizard’s tasks. My task is now to update and clean up all the pages to fit into the new format. It took me a while to learn the new set-up, but I’m now slowly working my way through the pages. Most will be the same by the time I’m finished. lol So, patience, please. I should have everything re-set within the next two days or so, and then I’ll be back with my first fully new post, including a brief excerpt from ANTÔNIO, which is now finished and at my publisher’s. I expect to have a good idea of the final release date very soon. But in the meantime, what do you think of the new header? In case you wondered, that’s sunset over the Pacific Ocean.

STILL WRITING and A NEW LOOK IS COMING
Yep, I’m still deep in the cave with Antônio, and the writing is going well. Antônio is like a brand new character for me, because he’s a step removed from the North American vamps. He knows Raphael, of course, but he has no ambition to rule the world. He’s all about Europe and his neighbors. Devastatingly handsome, of course. (heh heh) My birthday girl Eddie is keeping me company late into the night, sitting and sleeping over my shoulder while I write, before eventually switching to my lap (because it’s warm under the computer.) I’m also researching serial killers, which apparently has become a popular pursuit during this endless pandemic. There’s purpose in my research, however. After Antônio, I’ll begin working on a new series, with a vampire FBI agent who specializes in serial killers. I’m kind of excited about
SHOUTING FROM DEEP IN THE CAVE
I’ve been spending so much time in the cave lately, that I’ve decided to spruce the place up. Now all I need is my big red chair. What do you think? I’ve journeyed into the cave to finish ANTÔNIO, which is the new VIA-Vampires in Europe (Book #15!) I teased his story at the end of NICODEMUS, when the assassin sent to kill Sotiris was preparing to leave the U.S. for her next assignment. That assignment happens to be (surprise!) Antônio, but of course nothing is that simple in the world of vampires. At least not MY vampires. I had hoped to visit Europe again in 2021, in preparation for this book. But as we all know, that didn’t happen, since with every day that passes, it seems more and more as though we’re heading into a new lockdown. Here
JULY HAS ARRIVED…ALREADY?!
First of all, I want to thank all of you who took Nicodemus into your hearts, and read Nick and Antonia’s story. My thanks go especially to those of you who took the time to leave a review. They really do make a difference. Amazon apparently has a sense of humor because to celebrate July, Amazon UK is running a special on XAVIER, but only in the UK. The e-book is just £0.99. This is an extraordinary sale price, and I don’t know how long it will hold. Amazon makes these decisions and doesn’t always update us. So if you want to take advantage of this price, you probably shouldn’t delay. I’ll be spending July just as I did June, working on Antônio which is the next Vampires in America book.
