IT’S AUGUST!

turn over the manuscriptI can’t believe it, but it’s August already, which means ALLIANCE went in to my lovely editor Brenda yesterday, right on schedule. I have a few days before it will come back to me with the first round of revisions, and, of course, there’s the cover to think about. I already have my image for Christian, but I’m going to have to start searching for Natalie. In the meantime, though, I’ll be busy this week on another project, so no slacking off for me.
.
And I’m also thinking ahead to my next Vampires story, which is a Cyn & Raphael e-novella. With maybe a few days off in there somewhere to do some binge-watching and catch up on a couple of series.
Juro 2Also, as promised, I’ll be re-running the Juro and Lucia story towards the end of September, so look out for that. I’ve gotten so many requests for that one!
.
I’m also thinking about adding a newsletter to my social media outreach. Facebook’s ever-changing newsfeed policies are making it harder and harder to reach all of my readers, whereas the newsletter could go directly. I’d only send it out about four times a year, so it wouldn’t flood anyone’s e-mail. And it would include exclusive contests, and excerpts, as well as updates on the books and stories. I’d welcome any comments/suggestions you all might have about that idea. You can comment below, or email me directly.
.
More exciting news in my world … OMG my hair is falling out! The doc says this is all part of my having been at death’s door for the entire month of April. She says hair loss typically happens two months after the triggering event. Well, fan-fucking-tastic! Fortunately, I have lots of hair, so I can lose a lot of it (sob) and still have hair! But it better stop soon!!
.
And with that wonderful news, I’m going back to my special project. I’m so happy about this one. It’s been in the works for a long time, and I’m excited that you all will finally get a chance to read it. I wish I could tell you more, but I want to wait until I have a definite date.
.
So, happy August, and I’ll see you back here next week!

xoxo
