LONGING FOR WINTER
I’m not a summer person. I don’t like the hot weather or the short nights. I want cold weather and long, dark nights! There’s a reason I write about vampires. 😀 Although I feel kind of guilty wishing for winter, since a lot of places have cold, cold winters.
I finished my other project, so that’s one step closer to getting out to my readers. I still can’t talk about it yet, but soon! In the meantime, I’m working on ALLIANCE again. My editor did a speed read turn-around on the manuscript, so I’m in revisions. I don’t mind revisions so much. I’m working steadily every night as usual. This is why I like long nights.
It wasn’t all work this week, though. The DH and I did the grown-up thing and went out to dinner and a movie. We saw Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation, which was really good. Non-stop action from beginning to end. Even the DH liked it, and he’s not usually a fan of high speed chases and stuff. That’s more my thing. But he liked this one, because it had a story for him to get into. I will say, however, that Jeremy Renner looks way better in leather and jeans, than he does in an ill-fitting suit.
I also finished the first season of Sense8, binge-watching the last few episodes. Isn’t binge-watching great? It’s one of the best inventions of the modern era! Sense8 has been renewed for a second season, which is excellent news, but now we have to wait. 🙁
For this coming week, it’s all about ALLIANCE. Busy, busy, busy. And once I finish that I’ll be checking into setting up a newsletter, because I received lots of emails from my wonderful readers telling me they think that’s a great idea. So, cool! Guess I’m doing a newsletter. I hope to have the first one out to coincide with ALLIANCE’s release, or maybe sooner.
So, that’s it for me. I’m going back to work on ALLIANCE’s revisions.
Have a great week!
