READING AND WRITING

GoodReads badgeOne good thing–maybe the only good thing–about being sick for a month is all the books I read while I was hanging around too sick to do anything else, but too bored to sleep. I updated MY GOODREADS CHALLENGE, and I’m 19 books ahead of schedule, at 50% in my challenge. That’s good, because for the next couple of months, it’s all about writing.

And speaking of writing …. I found the image for Christian Duvall, my hero for ALLIANCE, but I’m not going to share it before the fact, because by the time you see it on the cover, it will be completely transformed by the artistry of Deb Dixon at Belle Books.
dark and stormyI also finished the posts for my last two DECEPTION blog tour stops. I’ll be doing a Haunted Tour of Malibu at FROM THE SHADOWS with an e-book giveaway, on June 15. And I’ll have a new interview with an ebook giveaway up at Were Vamps Romance on June 23.writer at work blackThat leaves me spending my nights in the writer’s cave, getting deeper and deeper into Christian’s story, discovering some things about him that might not make it to the book, but I already have a vignette planned for him later. Yum,yum.
.
Memorial Day 2015 2And finally, I know this is a long weekend for a lot of people here in the U.S., the official start of the summer season. But let’s not forget the real reason for the day, and that’s to honor the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice, so that the rest of us could live in peace and freedom.

See you next week.

  1. Hello Web Admin, I noticed that your On-Page SEO is is missing a few factors, for one you do not use all three H tags in your post, also I notice that you are not using bold or italics properly in your SEO optimization. On-Page SEO means more now than ever since the new Google update: Panda. No longer are backlinks and simply pinging or sending out a RSS feed the key to getting Google PageRank or Alexa Rankings, You now NEED On-Page SEO. So what is good On-Page SEO?First your keyword must appear in the title. Then it must appear in the URL.You have to optimize your keyword and make sure that it has a nice keyword density of 3-5% in your article with relevant LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing). Then you should spread all H1,H2,H3 tags in your article.Your Keyword should appear in your first paragraph and in the last sentence of the page. You should have relevant usage of Bold and italics of your keyword. There should be one internal link to a page on your blog and you should have one image with an alt tag that has your keyword….wait there’s even more Now what if i told you there was a simple WordPress plugin that does all the On-Page SEO, and automatically for you? That’s right AUTOMATICALLY, just watch this 4minute video for more information at. Seo Plugin
