POWER, it comes down to this … those who have it, those who want it. REVENGE, the need for it is a fire in the soul, a goad for the unwise. HUNTED, the fate of the foolish when they think to become the hunter. … Power … Revenge … Hunted.
The Lord of the Midwest is dead, and the powerful vampires of North America are gathering to choose his successor. The Vampire Council will be there to oversee the competition and to keep the violence to a bloody minimum, including Raphael, who will do whatever it takes to ensure the victor is a vampire he can trust. But someone is determined to stop Raphael and his mate, Cyn, from ever reaching Chicago, a hunter who may soon become … the hunted.
HUNTED is nearly here. My part is done, except for the blog tour at the end of July, but more on that later. For now, I’m back with ADEN where I’ll stay until he’s all done, too. But you know these vampires, they’ve got stamina. 😀
I watched the premier of True Blood last night. Not a bad debut, posed all of the questions that one hopes will be answered this season. I was happy to see Arliss Howard as Louisiana Governor Burrell. He’s terrific. And I’m curious to see what they’re going to do with Sookie & Jason’s grandfather Niall (Rutger Hauer) who apparently isn’t going to be played according to the book, but then by now there’s nothing of the book left.
You’ll notice a new badge for ADEN in the right sidebar. I’m not sure what the complete final cover will look like, but this IS his tattoo. One of them, anyway. Aden has more than one, very specific and significant to his life story.
And with that … ADEN is calling me, and you all want his story to read, so … I’m off to do some writing.
Have a great week, and I’ll have some good news next time.
xoxo
