Yes, LUCIFER went off to my editor on time. Feedback from my beta readers has been good, so now I’ll wait to see what my editor thinks. (fingers crossed) And in the meantime …
I always give myself a few days (but only a few) of R&R before I start my next project. So, this week I was binge watching Stranger Things on Netflix, and also the bazillion episodes of Say Yes to the Dress that I had waiting in my DVR que. (I love that show.)
And while I watch Say Yes to the Dress, I’ve been searching image sites for my Lucifer cover. I’ve looked at literally thousands of images, some beautiful, some not. The image sites’ idea of beautiful men and mine are sometimes very different things. 🙁 But that’s okay, I only need 2-3 images for the very talented people at my publisher’s to work with, and I’m pretty sure I’ve found my beautiful Lucifer. 😉
And now it’s on to the next project … which is the second book of the Stone Warriors, and that’s Kato Amadi’s story. Here’s the description of Kato Amadi from COMPELLED. “And finally, the youngest of them all, Kato Amadi from the hot sands of Africa. His journey to Nick’s side had been long and perilous, but he’d reveled in the bloodshed of the battlefield, in the violence that fed the dark magic that resided deep in his soul.”
I’m looking forward to writing his story.
I have a new giveaway/contest at Fresh Fiction again this month. In anticipation of LUCIFER, which is the third book of the Vampire Wars story arc, I’m giving away an e-book copy of DECEPTION, which is where the Vampire Wars intrigue begins. And next month, I’ll give away a copy of CHRISTIAN. And then, LUCIFER is scheduled for a November release, though I don’t have a specific date yet.
I’ve also updated my GoodReads challenge, and I’m STILL 6, maybe 7, books behind. It’s all that writing I’ve been doing. I’m hoping to catch up soon. The year is running out!!
And now it’s back to Say Yes to the Dress. I’m almost caught up with my que!
For my U.S. readers, hope you’re enjoying (enjoyed) your Labor Day weekend. And for you and all of my other readers, Happy September! Yes, summer is almost over, which makes me very happy. I’m more of a Fall/Winter kind of person!
See you next week!
xoxo
