Is he beautiful or what? I’m including the cover flat below, so you can see the back cover with the Chicago skyline. You can also see his slave bands better on the full flat. That’s the two identical bands tattooed on his biceps.
You’ll notice this cover is different than the earlier ones. Linda and I had actually planned on releasing new covers for all of the previous books, too. In fact, most them were already finalized at the time of her death. I don’t think that will happen now, but maybe at some point in the future I can at least post the images.
But for now I have ADEN with his tattoos captured so beautifully. I don’t have a confirmed release date yet, but the way things are proceeding, I’d guess it will be pretty close to the end of November. That’s just a guess on my part—understandably, things are still very unsettled at ImaJinn—but I’ll let you know as soon as I know.
I have even more artwork for you this week, though. Thanks to Sean at BEASTIE BOOKS, I finally have a map of the territories. Click the image below for the larger map.
I’m also happy to report that I made my 100 BOOKS IN A YEAR CHALLENGE. I swear I heard a fanfare of horns when I typed #100! 😀 I’m actually over 100 already, and that’s not even counting the many novellas I’ve been reading lately. Including two by Ilona Andrews which they wrote in a whole new world. I don’t know if these are older titles that they never published or not, but I’m really hoping they write more, because I loved these stories.
And speaking of stories I love, my friend and critique partner Steve McHugh is celebrating the relaunch of his excellent Hellequin Chronicles by 47North with a contest. You can check it out HERE.
I guess that’s enough for one week! I’ll be back next week with a wee snippet, being as Aden’s mother was from Scotland and all. 🙂
xoxo
