LACHLAN IS IN THE WILD

Usually, when I finish a book, it’s time for dancing in the sunlight after days spent in the writing cave. But since we’re starting four more days of much-needed rain, I’ll be dancing in the rain instead. Not that I mind. I’ve always loved walking outside in rain storms.

There won’t be time for too much dancing in the rain, however. I’ll be starting my edit/review of the CHRISTIAN audio tomorrow. That usually takes 2-3 days, after which I’ll send it to my publisher, who will send it on to Nick J. Russo for changes. And after that, it goes to Audible for release. Once it goes back to Nick and then Audible, I have no control over the release date, but it’s usually a matter of weeks. At that point, I just maintain a watch over the Amazon listing and as soon as it’s up, I’ll let you know.

I’ve been holding on to this movie for a long time, while I wrote LACHLAN. I promised myself I’d watch it once I sent the book to ImaJinn. So that’s what I’ll be doing after I finish CHRISTIAN’s audio.

By then, I’ll probably have revisions on LACHLAN, and then it begins … revisions, edits, copyedits, galley proof, and don’t forget the cover, though I think I’ve found my Lachlan. And then …. it’ll be time to start writing Dragan’s story. I’m already looking for my Dragan image, since he has some very specific requirements.

And that’s my plan. Part of it anyway. There are some conferences and other fun stuff in there, too, right?

Hope 2019 is being kind to you so far. I’ll see you back here next week with my thoughts on Bohemian Rhapsody … and more.

xoxo
