EPILOGUE TIME

KATO is mostly written, which means it’s Epilogue time! And you know what THAT means … a peek ahead at GABRIEL, Stone Warriors Book 3. Now, the picture above is obviously NOT Gabriel. He’s a tad bigger and a lot wilder. My Gabriel is a berserker, a warrior who loses himself in battle. He also has a secret that will force Nick to call on his old nemesis Raphael for help. Yep, GABRIEL will be a crossover book with my Vampires, with our favorite Western Vampire Lord playing a pivotal role in Gabriel’s life. As for the young lady above . . . she could easily be Gabriel’s heroine, who will break his curse and change his life.

Which brings me to my latest request for language assistance. Do I have any readers who speak fluent Japanese? I could go with an on-line translation app, but those are limited. Their translations are frequently precise, but not correct or colloquial. So . . . any Japanese speakers out there who’d be willing to help? I won’t need a lot of translations, but I’d like them to be accurate. I’ll acknowledge you in the book, and you’ll received an autographed print copy of the book, plus my eternal gratitude. 😀 That’s worth something, right? Timewise, I won’t actually be working on GABRIEL until next year. My next project will be Shifter Planet 2, and the Vampires in America #12, and then GABRIEL. If you can help, please email me at dbreynoldswriter@gmail.com, and we’ll talk!

Time is running out on my Valentine’s reader contest, only one more week to enter and win a chance to name a character in the next Vampires in America book (#12, as yet unnamed.) You don’t get to name the main character or the book itself, but your character will be more than just a walk-on, which means you’ll have dialogue. The character can be human or vampire, your choice. The winner will be mentioned in the Acknowledgments, and will receive a signed, print copy of the book. The entry rules follow:

1. Send an email to dbreynoldswriter@gmail.com with VALENTINE 2017 on the subject line.
2. Return email address MUST BE A VALID EMAIL ADDRESS.
3. Include your first and last name in the body of the email.
4. All entries must be received by midnight, February 10, 2017.
5. One winner will be selected at random from among the entries received by the deadline.
6. Winner will be notified by return email, and will have five (5) days to respond, after which a new winner will be chosen.
7. One entry per person. All duplicate entries will be deleted.

There’s no need to describe your character now or when you enter. IF you win, I’ll let you know everything I need to know about your character, with plenty of time to respond. And that’s it. I figure only people who love my Vampires will want to have themselves (or someone they love) in the books.

Make sure you follow the entry rules if you want your entry to be counted!

And finally … was that a great game or what? Of course, I was rooting for Patriots, so that helps my enthusiasm level. But, I have to say that when they were 25 points down at the half, I thought it was over. What a comeback! Sorry, Atlanta fans.

And now I’m off to polish off KATO and then figure out how to torment all of you with my Epilogue. 😀

Have a great week!

xoxo
