WAITING, WAITING, WAITING …

That’s where I am right now. Waiting. I turned in copy edits for CHRISTIAN, and got a look at the back cover copy for my new shifter book, which will be out at the end of October, but now I wait … I’m looking forward to seeing my gorgeous guys on their covers!

The week wasn’t all waiting, though. I’ve begun writing the next Cyn & Raphael novella, which is now titled COMPELLED. That’s official. It’s Cyn and Raphael and Nick on a hunt for the Amber Manacles which Mathilde used to bind Raphael in DECEPTION, and which Cyn left behind in her haste to get Raphael out of there. So, I’ve been working on that this week. Plus a fellow writer and I are putting together what we hope will be an intriguing and fun panel for RWA 2016 in San Diego, next July. It’s San Diego! It’s a short drive down the coast for me, so I have to be there.
Furious 7 released on DVD this week, so I finally got to see it. Loved every minute of it, and ended up with tears rolling down my face at the end, when they did the tribute to Paul Walker. Good movie, though, despite The Rock (Dwayne Johnson) spending a little too much time in gym getting ready for the role. Jason Statham was great as the villain.

And finally, to close on a personal note … I lost a friend this week. He went for a bike ride and never came back. He was hit by a car on a wide open stretch of road. Totally random. So, don’t forget to tell the people who matter that you love them, and don’t forget to live in the moment, because fate is a cruel and capricious bitch.
