It’s DECEMBER & LUCIFER is in the air!

LUCIFER continues to do well, thanks to all of my wonderful readers! I also have it on very good intel that my romantic LUCIFER is going to get a rating/review of 4 1/2 stars/TOP PICK! in the next issue of RT Book Reviews (December 19th.) It doesn’t get much better than that!

And there’s a brand new LUCIFER giveaway over at FRESH FICTION running all during December. Plus there will be one more as a special holiday giveaway later in the month, too. So, CHECK IT OUT!

lucas-hi-res-final-correctedLUCAS also had a giveaway ending this week. I was giving away two (2) copies of his brand new Audiobook. That giveaway has officially ended, and the winners have been notified. They now have five (5) days to confirm their winning status, after which I’ll select a new winner.

In other news … it’s December, people! Unbelievable. I know it’s a cliche, but this year really did zoom past. Too busy writing, I guess. Speaking of which …
nanowrimo_2016_webbanner_winner_congratsYep, I did it again. I made my 50K with a whopping 71 words to spare. I think that’s seven times I’ve done it in the last nine years. Not too shabby. You should know that my very first NaNo project was none other than RAPHAEL! I’d never heard of NaNo until I joined my writing group in 2008.

Okay, back to December and what I’m doing now, which is Kato. As always, I’m falling in love with my newest hero. I love writing in the world of my Stone Warriors. Kato has some serious magic muscle, and I’m not talking about the flesh and blood kind, though he has plenty of that, too. I’m working steadily on his story, and when I’m not doing that, I’m scouring the image libraries for a picture that will do him justice.

the-shallowsIn other other news, the DH and I took time out to watch a movie this past weekend, and I got to pick it out—unfortunately for the DH, since he and I have very different taste in movies. I’m a lot more blood and violence oriented than he is! 😀 Anyway, we watched The Shallows, which stars Blake Lively as a surfer who gets attacked by a shark, and then clings to a shrinking rock waiting for high tide to take away her safe haven, while the shark circles (munching on anyone else who sticks a foot in the water in the meantime!) I liked it. The DH … not so much. (hahahahahaha) Next time I guess he gets to pick the movie. Does anyone but me remember Woody Allen’s quote about Yugoslav Prison films?

Okay, back to work. Enjoy this first week of December. All the lights are going up, I do love the look of the winter holiday season.

See you next week.

xoxo
