I updated my 2016 GoodReads Challenge, and I think I’m on target. I’ve read 55 of my target 150 books for the year, which is just about 37%. It’s been a busy writing year so far, way less reading and way more writing, but I’m still feeling good about my challenge target.
The DH and I are both still recovering from the cold I brought home from RT. The DH is about a week behind me, but he’s got a beautiful, deep chest with good lungs (that give him a great resonant voice, by the way) so he’s actually doing better than I did. But we’re both definitely on the far side of this thing at last.
Don’t forget that DAMIAN is available for pre-order on all of the Amazons and Kobo. The pre-order is e-book only, but the print version will be available on release day. DAMIAN is the first book of the Stone Warriors spin-off series with Nick Katsaros. It’s full of sorcery and magic and all the usual hot romance and action.
And the rest of my week was spent working with LUCIFER. I’m searching the image libraries for him, but haven’t found him yet. I’ll keep looking. But in the meantime, his book is coming along very nicely, so that’s a good thing.
I hope all the mothers out there had a wonderful day with the people they love, or at least a few words for those far away.
Just a note that I’m running a giveaway at Fresh Fiction all through May and June, giving away a copy of COMPELLED for each month. So, if you haven’t read it yet, this is your chance.
Happy May, and I’ll see you next week.
