BACK IN THE CAVE
You all know what this means … I’m back in the cave, but with GABRIEL this time. Writers are so fickle. 😀 I lost a few days when I was sick, so I’m tunnel-vision focused on writing these days. Which means I’m not doing much else, except dropping by my house to check on progress and make more decisions (which never seem to end.) I will say it’s all looking quite lovely, and I’ll be glad when I can move back in. I miss my big screen TV with Buffy playing while I write. I miss the coyotes howling in my back yard and the raccoons running all over the roof in the middle of the night.
I do have some travel notes for the future. It turns out I’ll be in Porto, Portugal for a very few days in late September 2018. I know I have quite a few readers in Portugal, but I don’t know if any of you are close to Porto. I’ll be with family, but if any of you can make it to Porto, we can work out a time to meet. Just email me at email@example.com and let me know.
I will also be in London for essentially a weekend in early October 2018. I have lots of friends there, so my time is crowded, but if any readers want to meet up, we can figure something out. And then, I’ll be traveling all over Scotland for a couple weeks after that. I don’t even know my itinerary, though I know one exists. If I have any readers in London or somewhere in Scotland who’d like to meet up, send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org, and I can give you specific dates. I’m always thrilled to meet with my readers.
A slightly belated Happy Canada Day to my many friends and readers up North, and …
Happy 4th of July to all of my family, friends, and readers in the U.S. Have a safe and sane holiday.
And now it’s back to work for me.
