WHAT’S SOPHIA ABOUT? FUNNY YOU SHOULD ASK!

I got the go ahead this week on the back cover blurb for SOPHIA, so I’ve posted it here to give you a hint about the story. My editor wanted the blurb to focus on Sophia and Colin, so there’s no mention of Raphael or Cyn. But astute observers will notice that the story takes place (mostly) north of Seattle, and we all know whose territory that is, don’t we? I’ll give you a hint … his name begins with R.
😀

I’m working on revisions and lining up all sorts of guest blogs/interviews/promo spots. There will be a contest with almost every one of my promos, so stayed tuned. I’ll post the links just before the events, so you all can drop in and maybe win something. None of these will be before the April 15 release, though, so there’s lots of time yet.

Going on right now, by the way, is a big giveaway on my publisher’s website. ImaJinn Books is giving away two Kindles, one this month, one next. Entering for the giveaway is as easy as signing up for their newsletter. Stop by their website and check out the details.

Also, just a reminder that I’ll be at the RT Booklovers Convention in L.A. in April and would love to see some of you there. I’ll be at various workshops and signing books at the Book Expo, too.

I’m getting lots of questions about my Vampire Vignettes, mostly … where can I read the first four? As many of you know, I don’t keep the Vignettes up due to copyright issues, but I do re-run them on a regular basis. The next re-run will probably be in early Summer, but I’ll let you know plenty of time in advance, so you won’t miss anything. And, as usual, at the end of the re-run will be a brand new Vignette. I haven’t decided what yet. I’m still working on SOPHIA and DUNCAN!!

And speaking of SOPHIA and DUNCAN, it’s time for me to go back to work. I’m finishing up revisions on SOPHIA, sneaking in a chapter or two of DUNCAN in between messages from my editor. Woot! SOPHIA is nearly here!

See you all next week!

  1. You know, I didn’t even realize that there wasn’t a book blurb up yet. I’ve been excited for Sophia’s book since the end of Rajmund’s, that I don’t need need a blurb to get me pumped up for the books release. Nicely done DB 😀
