I’ll be adding books to MY GOODREADS CHALLENGE in a couple of days. It’s showing I’m a little behind right now, but once I add the latest books, I’ll be ahead again. My Kindle came alive last week with a bunch of books that I’d pre-ordered, so I’ve read some terrific books this week, including the fabulous Ilona Andrews’ latest MAGIC BREAKS, Susan Andersen’s latest hot contemporary, NO STRINGS ATTACHED, and the first of Angela Addams new Order of the Wolf series, the novella CURSED. So many great books, so little time!

Also this week, I was very excited to discover that RAPHAEL had been selected as BOOK OF THE MONTH at TMV CAFE! How cool is that? And I owe it all to Sharon Stogner at I SMELL SHEEP who nominated my delicious RAPHAEL.

No movies. ::sigh:: One of these days I’ll get to the theater again. I so want to see Guardians of the Galaxy. On the small screen, though, I’m still following THE STRAIN. It’s tense and creepy, although a couple of things in this week’s episode drove me nuts. SPOILERS! First, when Ef and Emma are doing the autopsy on our poor infected pilot, they’re sort of gowned up, but THEY’RE NOT WEARING ANY MASKS!!!! WTF? And second, Ansel’s wife—Ansel is the guy with a wife, two kids, and a dog named Gertie who really tries to protect his family from whatever’s happening to him—anyway, Ansel’s wife has no survival instinct whatsoever. lol

On the writing front, Untitled #9 (I’m getting closer to a title) is going really well, moving as fast as I can type, which is pretty damn fast. So, I’m going to get back to it now. Don’t forget to enter the giveaway for RAPHAEL’s audio book (below) and I’ll see you all next week.
