WRITING, WRITING, WRITING

Vincent Final dot fix - sized for blogIt’s hard to believe, with VINCENT so recently released, but I’m already deep into DECEPTION with Cyn and Raphael, and a few new characters, too. The action is definitely picking up, and you know what that means, Cyn is kicking ass and taking names.
Vincent Blog Tour GraphicThe VINCENT blog tour still has one stop on November 30, and until then you can still visit any of the sites and register for the Rafflecopter giveaway.

It occurred to me as I was watching CONSTANTINE the other night, that I’ve been so busy with UNFORGIVEN, then VINCENT, and their blog tours, that I haven’t done a media report since the new season began. So, let’s start with CONSTANTINE. The pilot episode wasn’t great, but showed just enough promise that I wanted to keep watching. And I’m glad I did, because I’m really loving it. Then there’s THE BLACK LIST which still has some of the best writing on television, and can still surprise us, especially that mid-season finale episode. There’s even more to Reddington than we knew, and James Spader is brilliant. SUPERNATURAL started out with evil Dean who was, amazingly, even more sexy than good Dean. I’m glad he and Sam are back together, but I kinda miss evil Dean. Since I’ve been so busy writing I have several episodes waiting on my DVR, along with all of GRIMM so far this season. There are only so many waking hours in the day–although granted I’m probably awake more than most–but Cyn and Raphael are my first priority, so it’s write, write, write.

And speaking of write, write, write … we’re nearing the end of NaNoWriMo, just a few days remaining. I’ve been writing like crazy, but, since writing DECEPTION was interrupted by the need to revise/proof UNFORGIVEN and then VINCENT, and being the compulsive person I am, I had to edit everything I’d already written before I started writing again. But I’m getting great daily word counts now, and still hoping I’ll win NaNo 2014.

And finally, this Thursday is the Thanksgiving holiday in the U.S. Lots of people traveling to visit family, lots of people getting stuck sleeping in airports. 😀 The DH and I will be take a drive up the coast to a beautiful hotel with a big bed, a fireplace, and a gorgeous spa. Not to worry, though, I’ll be taking my trusty laptop along, so Cyn and Raphael will be there with me, too.

Here’s hoping wherever you’re spending your holiday that your companions will be as much fun as mine.

Have a great week, and Happy Thanksgiving!

xoxo

  1. And a Happy Thanksgiving to you, too, DB! In my long list of blessings, you are definitely in there. Not just because you write my vampires so perfectly, but also because you are one hell of a great lady. Thank you!
