I held the first copy in my own hands last night — overnighted from my publisher (Thank you, Linda!). What a thrill. It made it all really real and I stayed up until four o’clock this morning reading the whole thing. Like I haven’t already read it a million times before! And here’s something truly amazing. My husband was reading the same thing. I can say with absolute certainty that this is the very FIRST time my husband has EVER read a book about vampires! I should have taken a picture to memorialize this most unlikely event!

I’ll be posting the cover art for JABRIL (Vampires in America Book Two) sometime tomorrrow. It’s absolutely gorgeous.

Back to writing.

    Oh, and btw, I only order books in trade form for friends… I hate trade form. Mass Market is so much better. I know you don’t have a lot of control over that of course.

    Any author I don’t know personally (owg counts as personally) that has a book out in trade I either don’t buy or wait until it finally comes out in mass market…

    I blame literary fiction. /rant

    1. Great idea, Firewolf! I’ll have to figure out how that’s done. Just buy ordinary book plates and sign them? Order special book plates (from where?) and sign them? This is all so new!
