ADEN, VIGNETTES, and MORE!

First up this week is ADEN! His Kindle book is on sale for only $1.99. This price will last only a few more days, so grab it now.

And don’t forget RELENTLESS, my latest Cyn & Raphael novella, which is getting great reviews from my readers. One of my favorite descriptions from Amazon is titled, “One Powerful Vampire Lord Plays With Paris.” I love that!

Volume 2 of my Vampire Vignettes is nearly ready to go. Copy edits are in, and I should have a firm release date this week. We also have a final cover image that I just love. The talented artists at ImaJinn are finalizing the cover, and I should have that very soon, too. I’m so excited about this project. I was working on copy edits this past weekend, reading through the brand new stories I wrote for this anthology, and smiling the whole time.

And if you want to know where I’ve been spending my nights, it’s NaNoWriMo.org. I’m ahead of the NaNo curve, because QUINN is just flying from my keyboard. It’s a good thing I’m a fast typist, because otherwise I’d never be able to keep up. (Those typing classes in high school—which, let’s face it, I took because they were an easy pass—sure turned out to be useful.) I hope you all end up loving QUINN as much as I do. Every time I start writing I’m back in Ireland and the marvelous trip I took there in September.

But it’s not all work, work, work around here…. Well, okay, it is, but some of my work is taking place in the gym these days. It’s been a complicated year on several fronts, and now I’m working with a personal trainer to rebuild the muscles I used to have. Apparently, as you get older (who me?) you lose muscle faster and it takes more work to get it back. Which totally sucks!

But I also spent some lovely time this week talking with the talented women at Romance Between the Pages. Victoria Danann, Riley J. Ford, Sarah Blausey and I had a wonderful conversation, which will be aired as a podcast in January.

I’ll give you specifics on the podcast as the date draws closer, which won’t be long the way this year is zooming past. It’s nearly Thanksgiving, already, with holiday decorations and sales everywhere you look. I’m already getting gift lists from the (not so) little people in my life. It seems like I just did all of this a short time ago. But the days are darker, and the nights are definitely colder, at least as we measure things here in So.Cal. No snow or frost yet, but I added the extra blanket to my bed!

And now, I’m going back to QUINN. Gotta make my NaNo count (and my deadline.) You all have a great week, and I’ll be back soon, hopefully with some final details on the Vignettes.

xoxo
